--- Comment #24 from RedBearAK <redb...@redbearnet.com> --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #22) > Fixed by David Edmundson with > https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/commit/ > 6943fab2c1c46eb15e0018ae3419c0d43eb3c8d7 in Plasma 6.2.0. Hey, I'm a little confused here, because I thought this fix wasn't going to show up until 6.2.0, but now I can't replicate the issue on either Tumbleweed or Fedora 40 after the 6.1.4 update. Both of the quad-core systems that were affected are now acting like they are immune, like the 4c/8t Ryzen laptop with Fedora 40 that never demonstrated the issue. I'm performing all the same actions, but seeing no increased CPU usage or plasmashell core dump on the previously affected systems. If this fix isn't actually out yet, that would have to imply that the race-condition-like issue has been fixed by some other unknown patch between 6.1.3 and 6.1.4. Unless this fix was also included in 6.1.4. But there was always that thing about the 4c/8t system not being affected, which never made much sense if the issue was directly caused by the lack of checking in the clipboard code that gets fixed by this patch. It should have also been affecting the 4c/8t Ryzen system just as much as the others. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
