Thanks for commenting your findings, sorry I have not checked into this earlier, but I have just updated to 6.1.4 and have also removed the nvidia-utils, egl-wayland, and eglexternalplatform packages, and after removing those packages, the bug is not occurring anymore! Thanks for finding that workaround.
