When idling, the plasmashell process uses 9-10 % CPU (on a relatively powerfull
desktop machine), causing higher than usual temperatures and energy usage. I do
not recall observing this in Plasma 5. I'm currently on X11, I have a
dual-monitor set-up, and I have several system monitor widgets on my desktop,
in case this is relevant.
