Hi!
When importing your clip, you can ignore Kdenlives suggestion to adjust the
project to the clip size. Then you can use a transform effect. See
https://docs.kdenlive.org/en/effects_and_compositions/video_effects/transform_distort_perspective/transform.html#transform
Soon this will become even easier with "build in" effects.
