Ive been following this bug report for almost 4 years now, in fact I made an
account just for this comment. This usability feature is the one thing that has
kept me on gnome this whole time. I am not advocating for changing the default,
but if this option gets added I would switch to using KDE. Maybe if I voice my
opinion after all this time, there will be enough “user demand” for it.
