Bug ID: 491258 Summary: Atrocious font rendering when using fractional scaling Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.1.3 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: ilia-k...@gmx.net CC: qydwhotm...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 172269 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=172269&action=edit screenshot I have global scaling set to 130 % on a 4K display on Wayland. As shown in the attached screenshot, a particular task (third from the left) in the text-and-icons task manager has really bad font rendering. It affects this position specifically, if I switch KWrite with Firefox then the KWrite task will be rendered badly. If I open enough applications to cause the tasks to shring in width, the issue disappears. Please bring back the "force font DPI" option. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
