            Bug ID: 491199
Summary: file transfer runs, but no file is transferred
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdeconnect
           Version: 1.3.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: grave
          Priority: NOR
         Component: android-application
          Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com
          Reporter: michael.hm...@gmail.com
                CC: andrew.g.r.hol...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

selecting files with file manager on the phone, sharing to Kde Connect or with
option transfer files from KDE Connect and sending to device starts, transfer
progress runs, notification says sent N files to device

works normally most times, I use it several times evey day

sometimes, without any error report on any side, the files are lost "in space",
they don't arrive, on the connected Linux computer no notification about
receiving or received rises, the files are lost

this leads me to suspect the problem is with the android app, but I have no
idea how to debug this further

both devices are paired and connected and communicating over USB cable, no
interruption, no cable fault, no connector fault, no other connection problem
on both devices, the newest version of the app installed on android(13) and
Linux, problem happens on Linux Mint, on Arch, on Kde Neon, cleaning cache and
reinstalling the app does not solve a thing

the problem is not new, but frequency is rising over the last months, saying
that it is not a version particularity, it definitely increased after upgrading
to plasm6

after this happens while I do not log out on linux and login again, the file
transfer Android->Linux does NOT work, in other words the problem is repeating,
but sending files from linux to android works ... also ping works in both
directions

if you need something, please give me instructions hwo to get it
thanks
