This is when klipper has items! Copy from google chrome does not show up in KDC or klipper but SHOWS up on xclipboard. And I am able to paste into xterm but cannot paste into any wayland applications. 1. It seems like klipper or the copy buffer mechanism actively interferes and prevents XWayland copies when the buffer is NOT empty. 2. Wayland copies make it to XWayland 3.
