Install/upgrade Digikam 8.4.0 Windows 64bit version (with qt6) to Windows 11 2. Launch it 3. OBSERVED RESULT On top of main window, I see a warning that "exiftool" wasn't found and I should set its location on preferences. EXPECTED RESULT Digikam launched without complaining. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 11 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3958 ) macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It is possible to install exiftool binary to Windows via chocolate etc however it exceeds regular users capabilities and not that practical as on Linux/BSD.
