Bug ID: 490838 Summary: Playing the Album "Cracker Island" by Gorillaz results in hung system Classification: Applications Product: Elisa Version: 24.05.2 Platform: Flatpak OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: matthieu_gall...@yahoo.fr Reporter: genevali...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY All other albums work perfectly fine. Only when playing this particular album does the system hang. So far, based on how I constructed my music library, the only difference between this album and the others was the album cover. It uses a very high resolution scan that was (purportedly) scaled down via iTunes when adding the album artwork. This does not happen in any other music player. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add album using the scan tool 2. Attempt to play album via any means 3. Crash OBSERVED RESULT System frozen; screen will not update; keyboard + mouse unresponsive. The audio continues to play as normal, however, and will continue to the next track, but the computer remains catatonic. EXPECTED RESULT Plays the music without hanging the system.
