SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click to open a file
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
On the file picker, besides the zoom control, there's a option button. If you
click on the first option, "detailed view", if the visualization side panel
(F11) is enabled it is automatically hidden. You have to click to unable it to
enable it again.
Happens every time.

EXPECTED RESULT
I discovered it while I was investigating the settings.
Seems like it's not uncommon for Linux programas do have this problem. For
example, a program to hand imagens. When you want to open some image from it
the file picker doesn't automatically filters for file extension, prioritizing
the images on the folder.
KWrite has this problem, the file picker has no option to filer for file types.
Why doesn't it automatically filters text files? Can this be changed?
