SUMMARY
Windows position themselves halfway off the bottom of my screen upon waking my
computer from sleep and logging in. I have an external monitor attached to the
right of my main laptop screen (not below).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect an external monitor.
2. Lock laptop screen.
3. Close laptop.
4. Open laptop and log in.

OBSERVED RESULT
All my windows, that were previously centred on my laptop screen, are
positioned halfway off the bottom of my laptop screen.

EXPECTED RESULT
Windows to not have changed position upon logging back in.
