STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings
2. Change animation duration to anything other than its current value
3. Open Kickoff and click Shut Down, Restart, or Log Out
OBSERVED RESULT
The logout screen fades out with the old duration.
EXPECTED RESULT
The logout screen animates with the new duration.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Restarting KWin or the computer makes it pick up the new duration. Same issue
as Bug 490531 affecting the Show Desktop effect.
