Summary: KAlarm should warn the user if the notification sounds
                    volume is muted
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kalarm
           Version: 3.8.1.2
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: djar...@kde.org
          Reporter: lts20050...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
A few months ago I reported https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=484503 because
I thought KAlarm play audio feature stopped working. It turns out that somehow
my notification sounds volume is muted this whole time. I think KAlarm should
warn the user if the notification sounds volume is muted, since it's not very
obvious that it's muted. It doesn't show up in the Volume plasmoid's
Applications tab (comparing to Windows showing the System sounds alongside
other applications in the Volume Mixer)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set the notification sounds volume to 0 or muted. This can be done by
opening the Audio plasmoid then click "Configure Audio Device" button, which
will open a Settings page where it's the only place you can see and change the
notification sounds volume.
2. Create a new alarm. It can be a audio alarm or a display alarm with audio.

OBSERVED RESULT
No warning. When the alarm is triggered also no warning and no sounds coming
out of the speaker.

EXPECTED RESULT
There should be a warning that the notification sounds volume is muted.
