Bug ID: 490137 Summary: Words doesn't let me drag the sidebar further to the right unless I alternate between menus. Also, the sidebar menu jumps to its original position halfway across the screen when I activate different page or menu. Classification: Applications Product: calligrawords Version: 3.2.1 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: usability Assignee: calligra-words-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: incohe...@mailbox.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Calligra Words doesn't let me drag the sidebar further to the right unless I alternate between menus. Once it is dragged to the right, the sidebar menu jumps to its original position halfway across the screen when I edit a different page or click on a different menu. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Switch between Text editing, References, Review, Shape handling, etc, menus alternately. 2. Move sidebar towards the interior of the screen. 3. Scroll to another page and click on a word there, or click on a different menu item. OBSERVED RESULT The sidebar is inconsistently hidden and it takes several attempts. When switching the active page to edit by clicking on a separate page or menu such as Review" or Draw path, the sidebar jumps to its original position. EXPECTED RESULT It should be possible to hide the sidebar without switching menus. The sidebar should stay in its original position and not pull out. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS LXQt Version: 1.3.0-1.fc39 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The sidebar is very large and I wish to hide it the best I can. Its size interferes with reliably reading the document I am reading/editing. I'm not using KDE Plasma; I am using LXQt, and I am in the openbox window manager. I don't know if this happens in KDE Plasma. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
