I can confirm the behavior. If I set "Icons-Only Task Manager" to a height of
40 pixels the icons look the same as in the screenshot on the reddit post
(smaller)
Notably, they are smaller than the other icons in the taskbar - menu, peek at
desktop, software center (Solus)
