I'm having this issue too. Shocked that more users haven't reported it as the
lock ups when trying to search are so extreme I believed it had actually
crashed. But it turned out that everything just freezed for more than a minute
and eventually it comes back. Every time I try to search it's always the same.
Never had this issue in Lightroom on the same catalog (300k images). The
difference is night and day.
