            Bug ID: 489517
Summary: Find My Phone should work regardless of Android
                    Bedtime mode
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdeconnect
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: android-application
          Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com
          Reporter: m...@ratijas.tk
                CC: andrew.g.r.hol...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
In Bedtime mode Android silences most notifications except the most important
ones. IIRC the native Find My Phone feature via Google accounts works
regardless of Bedtime mode; and so should KDE Connect. Is there a way to
register this specific notification type as important enough to break the
silence?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Ensure your Android phone is connected to another device running KDE
Connect.
2. Turn on Bedtime mode on your Android device.
3. Use the Find My Phone plugin.

OBSERVED RESULT
The notification is silenced and not displayed at all until the Bedtime mode is
disabled or temporarily suspended.

EXPECTED RESULT
Find My Phone should work regardless of Android Bedtime mode

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: git/master
KDE Frameworks Version: git/master
Qt Version: 6.7.2

Phone: Google Pixel 8
Android: 14
Android security update: June 5, 2024
Google Play system update: May 1, 2024

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Possible duplicate of BUG 402384, but I'm not sure if Bedtime mode is exactly
the same feature as Do Not Disturb.
