SUMMARY
Any notification on android for downloads sends multiple repeated notifications
on PC until the download ends.
This doesn't negatively affect the phone, only the PC as I get bombarded with
the notifications
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect phone & PC via KDE Connect
2. Download anything on phone
OBSERVED RESULT
Repeated notifications until download finishes
EXPECTED RESULT
A single notification when download starts, and optionally another when it
finishes
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10
Android: 1.30.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.248.0
Qt Version: 6.6.1
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This issue was present for a long time over multiple version of KDE connect
(both Windows & Android), so it's not version specific or new.
