            Bug ID: 488471
Summary: When dolphin is closed, dolphinstaterc is not updated
as expected, cannot remember last size and position
    Classification: Applications
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 21.12.3
          Platform: Ubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: juli...@gmail.com
                CC: kfm-de...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Using Dolphin normally for sometime now, but everytime I restart the computer,
Dolphin does not remember its last size and position.

Closing it manually, I can see that the file
$HOME/.local/share/dolphin/dolphinstaterc has an updated timestamp, but its
contents do not reflect the current size and position where the window was.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.7
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I've also check under System settings > Window Management > Window behavior >
Advanced > Allow apps to remember the positions of their windows...

That option is enabled. Changing it does not make any difference. I'm not sure
if this is actually realted to Dolphin, because other apps are also not
remembering their positions (System Settings for example).

Best regards.
