There's another bug related to this behavior that's been reported in #442482 "Dolphin location bar doesn't take folder names with capital letters if they also exist with small letters" https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442482 The original bug, as described, looks to be fixed. To clarify: Sorting mode is set to Alphabetical, case sensitive When I activate the location bar and type "a", I also see directories starting with A, as you do When I activate the location bar, type "a" and press "Enter", Dolphin navigates to the a directory (desired behavior confirmed) I am *not* able to type an upper case A in the location bar, it is entered as lower case a. If you agree that the bug you currently see is the same as https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442482, just leave this one in NEEDSINFO and it will auto close on its own.
