            Bug ID: 488355
Summary: Some apps that were open are not restored after
                    restart.
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: git-stable-Plasma/5.27
          Platform: Mageia RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff)
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: v5234...@protonmail.com
                CC: mikel5...@gmail.com, noaha...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
Some apps that were open are not restored after restart. This began several
days ago and persists. Previously worked correctly and there have not been any
recent power outages or apparent hardware issues. I don't know if plasmashell
or which component is to be reported.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Tools -> System Settings -> Startup and Shutdown -> Desktop Session ->
Session Restore -> On login, launch apps that were open -> On last logout
2. Before restart open apps, in order, Firefox, Dolphin (two tabs), Kate
(multiple tabs), Konsole (three tabs), Thunderbird, Birdtray, Cherrytree.
3. Restart.

OBSERVED RESULT
After restart, only Firefox, Birdtray and Cherrytree are open. None are KDE.
However Thunderbird is also missing.
Restarting Dolphin, the two tabs are there.
Restarting Kate, the open session is closed. Reopening the session restores all
the tabs.
Konsole appears beside the Application Menu button, when clicked starts as a
single empty tab, otherwise configured as before.
Restarting Thunderbird, all is OK.

EXPECTED RESULT
All apps should be open as before restart.
