Same problem, encountered in Fedora Linux 40, KDE Plasma 6.0.5, with the
Digital Clock.
For a few boots it kept forgetting selected resources. Now it seems it loads
them but still shows them as disabled in the applet settings.
This doesn't happen anymore, at least for me, in Merkuro Calendar.
