            Bug ID: 488133
Summary: Filter Mask and Transfrom Mask seem to be affected by
merging actions of the layers right below
    Classification: Applications
           Product: krita
Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!)
          Platform: Compiled Sources
                OS: All
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Layer Stack
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: acc4commissi...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Tested in git 8901d54
It seems to be specific to 5.3 prealpha, and doesn't happen in 5.2 builds.

Let's say you have a layer stack looks like this:

Layer 3 with a filter mask(or a transform mask)
Layer 2
Layer 1

If you merge/unmerge Layer 2 to Layer 1, the filter mask on Layer 3 is updated
every time, and the CPU usage also spikes. (And makes my PC fan roar)

It doesn't happen if you 'seperate' Layer 3 from the Layer 2 by:
- putting Layer 3 inside a group layer
- putting another later between Layer 2 and Layer 3
- etc

Transparency Mask doesn't seem to be affected. So far it seems only happns with
Filter Mask and Transform Mask.
