--- Comment #2 from cont...@betalars.de --- Okay, I have found one underlying issue: Whenever an application has a new notification, the panel will not go away. I think this is probably partly intended, but right now it is just not practical for me. My ideas to resolve this: - make it pop up for a bit and then retract - show a small visual indicator of a new notification instead of the whole panel. Maybe an orange glow at the location of the app that wants to show a new notification instead of the whole panel. Similar to the blue glow you get when moving the cursor near a collapsed panel.
