--- Comment #3 from opensorce <openso...@gmail.com> --- Update: A trick I had to use to make games work properly in the stable release seems to make it launch Wayland but in Safe Graphics mode. The "trick": Install 555.42.02, reboot, install nvidia-driver-530 (or other stable driver), reboot to CLI (systemctl set-default multi-user.target), re-install Nvidia 555.42.02. This makes Wayland load but it reports "nomodeset" and it's very laggy. Definately have the correct modeset.
