This was already implemented with commit
be999e8e6f4f0944f51f0e65bca364b465951c9a "Support enter URL as search into
import dialog (Discogs, ...)", see BUG 453270. You can open the MusicBrainz
import dialog and then enter a MusicBrainz URL in the first search field and
click "Find", you will then find a single entry with exactly that release in
the results list.
