            Bug ID: 487682
Summary: KShortcutsEditor still does not allow modifier-only
                    shortcuts
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
           Version: git-stable-Plasma/6.1
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: adrian.g...@t-online.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
In Plasma 6.1 Beta, I can now assign modifier-only shortcuts in the Shortcuts -
System Settings, but trying to assign them in config menus that use
KShortcutsEditor still does not work. For example, going to Desktop Effects ->
Overview -> click the configure button, it is not possible to bind a modifier
by itself there, while it is possible to bind it in the Shortcut System
Settings directly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any shortcut editor that uses KShortcutsEditor
2. Try to bind a modifier key by itself

OBSERVED RESULT
The editor will not allow binding modifier-only shortcuts.

EXPECTED RESULT
The editor should allow this, as this is now possible in the global shortcut
settings.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1
Kernel Version: 6.9.2-zen1-1-zen (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Workaround: Use the global shortcut settings to configure modifier-only
shortcuts
