Bug ID: 487665 Summary: Line of pixels slowly forms at bottom pixel of taskbar as task manager is used on Wayland Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.0.4 Platform: openSUSE OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: justintwayl...@gmail.com CC: qydwhotm...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 169901 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=169901&action=edit Look towards the center of the panel, where you can see the pixels leftover from open and closed apps. SUMMARY As I use the icons only task manager in Plasma on Wayland, lines of pixels slowly form on the bottom row of the display corresponding to changes in the opening and closing of apps, as seen in the attachment, even if the taskbar is on top of the screen. These pixels will stay on the display, even if you fullscreen something else like a video. They only go away when you log out of your session. I am on a Framework 16, using the iGPU, if the amdgpu driver turns out to be the problem. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Login. The bottom part of the plasma screen should look fine. 2. Continue to use the desktop, frequently opening and closing applications. OBSERVED RESULT Lines of pixels forms on the bottom part of the screen. EXPECTED RESULT Lines of pixels should not form on the bottom part of the screen SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.9.1-1 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.04 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
