SUMMARY
When logging into plasma, a "placeholder" icon (the one that is e.g. used for a
new file of unknown type) appears in the system tray. Clicking it informs the
user of an error that occured when loading vaults.
Note that I do not and have never actually used the vault functionality.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login to plasma
2. Observe placeholder icon in system tray
3. Click it
OBSERVED RESULT
The following error is shown:

Cannot assign object of type "QQC2.Action" to property of type
"Action_QMLTYPE_88*" as the former is neither the same as the latter nor a
sub-class of it.
EXPECTED RESULT
(Not sure, I never used vaults)
