Actually the "failed connectivity check" icon is an exclamation point, not a
question mark. The icon it's shown in your tray is the "nothing is connected"
icon, so for some reason it doesn't even think it's connected in the first
place.

Does this issue reproduce in a new clean user account, or in the Fedora 40 KDE
live session?
