Bug ID: 487266 Summary: Request to restore output retention settings Classification: Plasma Product: KScreen Version: 6.0.4 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: i...@iridium.cyou Target Milestone: --- Hi all, I really liked the previous functionality that allowed saving multiple display settings and recently I noticed that this feature was removed by https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kscreen/-/commit/e84611e824ab89ba557148fabb2a50545eaca7b7, citing a lack of use cases. However, I believe there are strong use cases for this feature. For instance, on a laptops, to make the display properly, it is quite reasonable to use different resolutions or scale rates when connecting to various external monitors or not using any external monitor. Otherwise, users must manually adjust settings every time they connect or disconnect an external monitor, which can be very tedious. I kindly request that this feature be restored. Thank you for your consideration. Best regards -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
