Bug ID: 486670
Summary: Krusader option 'Insert tabs after current' behaves
unexpectedly
Classification: Applications
Product: krusader
Version: 2.8.0
Platform: Debian stable
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
I'm a long time Krusader user and first of all big thanks to entire Krew for
making and maintaining this great peace of software.
SUMMARY
Krusader option 'Insert tabs after current' behaves unexpectedly.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Uncheck 'Insert tabs after current' option.
2. Check 'New tab button duplicates a tab'.
OBSERVED RESULT
- 'New Tab' action inserts tab at the end.
- 'New Tab' button duplicates tab and inserts it at the end.
- 'Duplicate Current Tab' action duplicates tab and inserts it after current
tab.
EXPECTED RESULT
- Duplicate tabs created by the action should also open at the end.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian GNU/Linux 12
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In Firefox it is possible to configure for every new tab to open at the end of
tab bar. This includes 'Duplicate Tab' action in tab context menu. Here are
relevant options:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1229062
It seems this is not possible in Krusader, 'Duplicate Current Tab' action
always opens duplicate tab next to the current one.
Best regards.
