Thank you for your reply. I'm afraid I didn't have systemd-coredump and instead had apport. I ran > apport-retrace -g /var/crash/_usr_bin_plasmashell.1000.crash which downloaded a bunch of debug symbols including > Downloading separate debug info for > /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/qml/org/kde/plasma/workspace/calendar/libcalendarplugin.so but gdb still produced the exact same backtrace.
