Bug ID: 486635 Summary: Panel moves to the top after waking up from sleep Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.0.4 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: vozdec...@gmail.com CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 169218 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=169218&action=edit Screenshot SUMMARY When I wake up my system from sleep, the taskbar moves up right after I open an app (e.g. Google Chrome). On top of that, the notifications appear in the middle (please see the screenshot attached). Weirdly enough, this only happens when I leave the computer and it switches itself into the sleeping mode on its own. When I do that manually myself, nothing like this happens (however, I do get a notfication from KWin Window Manager in both cases saying “Desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset” - not sure if these are related, though). It's possible to fix this by just logging out and back in. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Leave the system and wait until it falls asleep 2. Wake up from sleep & log in 3. Open an application by clicking on the panel OBSERVED RESULT The panel moves to the top of the screen. EXPECTED RESULT The application should be open without the panel being moved.
