I just ran into the same problem, with the message "failed to start sshfs". It
turned out I just didn't have sshfs installed. I thought it meant it was trying
to start sshfs on the phone, so I didn't think to check it on the PC. I came to
suggest that the error message be clearer about which device the problem
occurred on.
