This is most likely a packaging error. First check if there are any updates to
MLT of FFmpeg.
Then try opening one of these files in a terminal with FFmpeg and MLT:
ffplay /data/C0001.MP4
melt /data/C0001.MP4
What is the result of these commands.
Workaround would be to use the AppImage until things are resolved on your
distro
