Delete (or at least rename) your
$HOME/.local/share/kxmlgui5/kdenlive/kdenliveui.rc
If that doesn't work do a clean install... this is not a Kdenlive issue... I am
closing this in the tracker. Please ask for help in the forum, I am sure many
ubuntu users can give you a hand there.
