Bug ID: 485790 Summary: [Feature Request] add "[current subtitle] to dynamic text Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Effects & Transitions Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: kde_...@brunodevries.xyz Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 168674 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=168674&action=edit quick composition how i would envision it to work I hope this is no duplicate, I looked but found nothing. I am coming from the gaming video corner of video editing. Think SovietWomble or any other highlight content creator. They usually have subtitles to humoristically enhance the experience for people with a low attention span. Those subtitles are often color coded and motion tracked to something in the video. Currently we only have TitleClips that are super tedious as soon as you have more than a few lines of text Alternatively a keyframeable title clip text would also work, but i can see how that would create tons of problems. The easiest solutions seems to be a transparent picture with dynamic text on top of any given video that just displays the subtitle text transformed by any motion tracking one wants. Thus leveraging the already existing subtitle engine and interface. This of course would only solve _my_ problems partly as there is only one subtitle track but it _seems_ low effort to integrate and would help me a ton (and probably some other people as well) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
