Bug ID: 485612 Summary: System tray popups get minimized after maximizing an application. Classification: I don't know Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: cerv...@protonmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 168573 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=168573&action=edit Minimized popup SUMMARY Using the default panel with the position set to the bottom edge and its style set to floating and using the system tray widget inside of it. When maximizing an application, the panel will move to the bottom of the screen, instead of having a slight offset from the bottom. This is expected and working. But what happened in the background, is that all expandable popups (a popup you see when clicking on of the system tray's icons), now are minimized to a basically invisible square. I have to click on the pixel where the popup is and then use my mouse and click and drag to expand it, to make it visible again. This is definitely not intended and a bug. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add a default panel to the bottom of the screen and set its style to floating. 2. Maximize any application. OBSERVED RESULT System tray icon's popups are now completely minimized, though can be fixed by expanding them using the mouse. EXPECTED RESULT System tray icon's popups should be fully visible, with its usual size.
