Bug ID: 485593 Summary: Map view cannot zoom in far enough to be useful Classification: Applications Product: digikam Version: 8.3.0 Platform: Kubuntu OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Geolocation-Workflow Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: barn...@waterpigs.co.uk Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 168559 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=168559&action=edit maximum zoom level SUMMARY The map view’s maximum zoom level is still much too far out to be useful in many cases. With the map sidebar resized to a usable width, the furthest I can zoom in still shows an area 90km wide! As is visible in the screenshot, I have more than 2000 photos in the smallest viewable map area, so it’s not very helpful for filtering. I would suggest allowing the map view to be zoomed in at least 10x the current amount, ideally to a similar zoom level as the open street map website (1m ≈ 4px on my screen). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
