The windows which become invisible are the ones that were on the now
disconnected monitor. The unminimize animation shoes that they are in the same
place as is the monitor was still present, except now that area of the combined
screen space longer exists.
The setup is with the external monitor extending to the right. So the affected
windows are right of the laptop screen edge in this scenario.
