Bug ID: 485151 Summary: Correct password won't open vault as destination is "not empty" Classification: Plasma Product: Plasma Vault Version: unspecified Platform: Neon OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ivan.cu...@kde.org Reporter: k...@maillama.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When using the "Unlock and open" sysapplet menu option in vaults and entering the correct password to unlock the vault, I just get the error message in this bug's title. If I enter the correct password, it recognizes it as incorrect. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Click on the Vaults system tray icon 2. Click on "Unlock and open" for a vault. 3. Enter the correct password and click enter. OBSERVED RESULT An error message with "Failed to open: The mount point directory is not empty, refusing to open the vault" EXPECTED RESULT The vault opens. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Possibly related to: 1. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401413 At ~/.local/share/plasma-vault/ there is a folder with the name of my vault and .enc at the end (eg MY VAULT.enc). Inside is a bunch of two letter long folders inside with what looks like encrypted info. Not sure if this could be deleted without data loss, or not. That said, I do not see a .directory file as in that bug. 2. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412450 Once again, no .directory file, but maybe it's the actual MY VAULT.enc folder causing this. 3. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418262 NOTE: This is the first time trying to open this vault since upgrading to Plasma 6. I'd be grateful for any ideas as to a workaround. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
