Summary: When playing games through DirectX with Night Light
                    enabled, a graphical glitch occurs
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 6.0.3
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_nightcolor
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: benjamines...@gmail.com
                CC: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When I play a game, with Night Light enabled, I occasionally get graphical
corruptions across my screen for a single frame at a time. I've confirmed this
by when Night Light enables automatically, I start seeing the corruption but if
I manually turn it off, the corruptions stop entirely.

Here's the bug report I reported to MESA, as I initially thought it was a
general MESA bug: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/10895

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch a game through Proton/Wine
2. Wait until corruption happens

OBSERVED RESULT
Corrupted "snow"-like effect occurs occasionally, for a single frame.

EXPECTED RESULT
No graphical corruptions when playing games with Night Light enabled.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.8.2-zen2-1-zen (64-bit)
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: Plasma 6.0.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.3
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I have a 165hz monitor so recording this issue is very difficult, and I'm not
sure if it has something to do with high refresh rates/frame rates.
