However... Since my last test I have unplugged my monitor and sent my laptop to sleep. Now having woken it again and connected the monitor, I can duplicate the issue as described. Might need a bit of further testing to duplicate reliably, but I'm convinced there is a bug there somewhere to be looked at. Marking this as confirmed.
