                    Fractional Scaling
    Classification: Applications
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 24.02.0
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: panels: folders
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org

Shows the described issue.

SUMMARY
***
The folder icons in the places panel do not use the correct symbolic icons
(Example: The Down Arrow for downloads) when using fractional scaling. Instead
the actual folder icon is shown. This both looks bad and makes it very
difficult to understand what the folder icon actually is.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Switch to 125% scaling.
2. Open Dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
Places Folders use the full folder icons. (As show in screenshot)

EXPECTED RESULT
Places Folders use the symbolic white/black icons. (As shown in screenshot)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon 6.0

KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Tested only on Wayland.
