            Bug ID: 483826
Summary: Feature Request: Option to never switch to icon-only
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 6.0.2
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: maxim.kukush...@gmail.com
                CC: qydwhotm...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
Despite using `Task Manager` widget to show icons with window titles, it still
defaults to icon-only view when many windows are opened.

Could we please have a configurable threshold to switch between icon+titles and
icon-only views or a setting to disable the icon-only view?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a `Task Manager` widget
2. Open 10-15 windows

OBSERVED RESULT
Titles are hidden in the Task Manager and icon-only view is used

EXPECTED RESULT
Titles are shown no matter what, because it's a user preference. (I do actually
prefer an icon with even one letter shown than icons only).

Could we please have a configurable threshold to switch between icon+titles and
icon-only views or a setting to disable the icon-only view?

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
