            Bug ID: 483817
           Summary: Downmix to Stereo
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Haruna
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: generic
          Assignee: georgefb...@gmail.com
          Reporter: s...@willard.tw
  Target Milestone: ---

Haruna doesn't have the ability to downmix audio to stereo (2.1 audio output)
from surround sound, e.g. 5.1/7.1 audio.

The lack of this feature, when played on 2.1 audio output hardware results in
quiet audio output from surround sound audio output sources.

This would be a very useful feature for laptop use or earphone use, and
consequently would be quite a common requirement I'd imagine.

There are a number of other media player applications that contain this
feature, vlc and kmplayer are two I can think of straight off the bat.

This may be tied into feature request id 481227, although this specific feature
request (downmix to stereo) isn't mentioned there, it is somewhat similar.
