Bug ID: 483710 Summary: Title Clip Letter Spacing cannot be changed back to 0 Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version: 24.02.0 Platform: Microsoft Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Effects & Transitions Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: t...@smerkin.club Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When the letter spacing of the title clip is changed, re-editing the title clip and changing it back to 0 does not apply. This seems to also affect new title clips that inherit the setting last used for a title clip. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. In the project bin - Add Title Clip 2. Click the Add Text button and then click on the title clip to add text (pre-populated with "Text") 3. Change the letter spacing to any - or + number, in this case 5 4. Click Create Title 5. Edit the clip 6. Change the value to 0 and click Update Title 7. Edit the clip and you will see it is still set to 5 OBSERVED RESULT * When using the mouse to change the letter spacing value you can visually see the text change as it steps through the values 4,3,2,1. However when you reach 0 the text visually changes back to what it was when you started, in this case 5 even though the value is displaying 0. * Any title clips created at this point inherit the letter spacing from the last time and hence it's not possible to get back to a letter spacing of 0. EXPECTED RESULT To be able to set the letter spacing to 0.
