[digikam] [Bug 482944] The date is wrong! digiKam appears to be using modified date not the create date despite there being a "date taken" tag in windows properties.

exiftool 12.78 is the one I downloaded and this is seeming to be found by the

I re read the meta data from the files to database and yes it does work!
